pet portrait in oils.......almost off the easel
well, with the covid-19 outbreak and the isolation I guess there is plenty of time to get creative. The fact that the current situation does not really allow for the normal way of life as we knew it before the corona crisis, it makes sense to spend my time doing what I love most.....painting pet portraits in oils
Quite a bit more work has been done on Toller, but it still needs a lot of fine-tuning. As in adjusting the sky, adding highlights to green shrubs, the water etc etc. After careful discussion with Toller's owner, we both felt it would be better to adjust the shadow part of the face, although it is shown like that on the reference photo. So the paint needs to dry before I can those facial adjustments.
So here a photo of the work done so far.
